Used this for 2+ years and still gets compliments EVERYDAYI have had this product for over 2 years and just recently bought another to replace the first. For the fact that I used this daily, I would say that the quality of this product is VERY good.Bottom line — you absolutely need this product. Given the fact that it only takes ~2 minutes each night to wrap my hair around the wand and I wake up with a heatless blow-out look, I would recommend this product to literally anyone and everyone. I get compliments DAILY and have even gotten strangers to buy this product on the spot after seeing my hair.Pro tips for the best results:-Get your hair damp with a spray bottle, but not soaking wet. If you just showered and put up your hair soaking wet, it will not dry and your hair will not hold any curl. Similarly, if you wrap it while it’s completely dry, it won’t hold the curl-Experiment with the size of each strand you wrap around. When I first started with this product, I was getting ringlets and I hated it. I now use ~1 inch strands and it gets me beach waves. You can also wrap it around tighter/looser to enhance the look of the curl.-Trust me when I say use LESS hair products than you normally do. I don’t use any hairspray, curling cream, or any oils to hold my curls. They do begin to settle after ~6 hours but they fall out into nice beach waves.As a disclaimer, I do have naturally wavy hair, so I would assume my hair holds the curl structure a lot better than bone-straight hair, but the curls absolutely stay in if you use this product correctly.I attached photos as proof so you can see the initial outcome and how it looks later on in the day. The second photo is 1 hour into my day and the first is after 8-10 hours after, both with no product or heat.
Amazing. If it didn’t work…This thing is awesome. It’s simple to use (just follow a YouTube video). Worked the first time I ever tried it. Recommends using on wet hair or dry hair but in my opinion, damp hair works best. I tried to hang dry hair, but sprayed it down really well with water and it doesn’t work as well. I just put my name shortly after I got out of the shower after I get out of my house to shower routine, skin care, etc. towel dried my hair and then put it in Tess in an overnight and then a couple hours after I woke up while I was getting ready and it works well. This definitely workedI’m sure this product will get easier to use after I’ve used it a few times and get the hang of it, so I’m writing this review from my first use. I followed the directions on the box as described (except I used my own big hairclip) and I would recommend making sure your hair is slightly damp. It took me a while to wrap my hair around the rod, but once I got the hang of it, it got a little easier. Sleeping in it wasn’t terrible either. It was actually quite comfortable, and the rod moved around enough to be out of my way while not getting loose.In the morning, I pulled the rod out and the curls were everywhere. I was very surprised at how curly my hair turned out. Some areas were curlier than others and those areas were the ones that were wrapped around the rod first. The parts that were the least curly were the ends. I think that will all get better with more practice. Overall, I would recommend this item, but know that you’ll need to practice to get this right.
Use it nearly every day!I have ditched my curling wand and will only use this going forward! I have long hair, well past my shoulders, it doesn’t hold curl very well with a heated curling wand (hair would fall straight by the end of the day, even with hairspray and products). This has been a miracle!I bought it because I was constantly seeing video advertisements and when I saw how inexpensive it was, I figured I’d give it a skeptical try. I like to shower in the evenings, so the first time, I let my hair air dry until it was mostly dry, then sloppily wrapped it on this tool, not thinking it was going to work and that I would be straightening my hair in the morning. (I watched a quick video demo on how to grab sections and wrap them on the tool) It is squishy and soft, so I had no problems sleeping with it in my hair overnight. In the morning, I removed it and was astonished at the beautiful wavy curls! I didn’t put hairspray or any products on my hair so I could get a sense of how well this held the curl. My curls lengthened out throughout the day, but my hair looked great and held far better than it ever did with a heated wand.I have been using this for several weeks, and sometimes I will go a couple days between washes, the waves/curls will hold in my hair the whole time! This is a look I have never been able to achieve with a heated tool. AND it takes only a couple minutes to put into your hair. Time saver and it looks like you spent a ton of time styling!
It works! When you get it rightI really really like this and it is such a convenience to my lifestyle. I’m not someone who will ever get up early to do my hair. I wear it over night and BOOM- beautiful curled hair in the morning!! It is definitely a game changer for me. However, it has taken me some trial and error to get it right. For example, I found mostly dry hair works best, wet won’t hold at all even left over night. You have to try to wrap as consistently as possible for all hair pieces or else you might end up with uneven curls or waves. Generally, I can get them pretty even now that I have been practicing. I have received SO many compliments at work and out and about. The curls will hold fairly well without hair spray depending on how well your hair holds but add a light spray and your good for most of the day. I find it comfortable to sleep in but it depends on where you have it sit on your head and how you sleep. Definitely recommend!
Does make curlsI used this and I liked it- it saves me time when wanting to do curls.I have thick, curly, layered hair. When I put it in, I have to do it like a French twist to get all my hair on- and to incorporate all of my layers. It’s not unbelievably uncomfortable to wear. But my hair doesn’t dry if I do it with wet hair- my hair has to be barely damp.The curls come out well- I do have to touch up the top layer (about 8 curls or so) with a hot iron because my hair is frizzy. In the end I only spend about 10 min of active time getting this curly look instead of 40. So that’s the win here.After only 5 uses, the foam inside has just squished and “deflated” so that’s a huge concern for me- because it means that the hair won’t stay and it is like pencil width instead of 1in. This would seem like a malfunction to me and shouldn’t happen within the first month of use. So I’d say the life of this product is way shorter than advertised.
worksI have dry frizzy wavy long hair. curling irons do not work on my hair. curls almost always fall out within 10-15 minutes of doing my hair.seen a similar item on tiktok. found this to be a better looking option. this was a brand I’ve heard of, a bit more expensive than the one on tiktok but def worth it.I’m a stay at home mom and sleep is life at night. I hardly get it but if I do I do not want something like this on my head making me uncomfortable. which is what lot of reviews had stated on many brands.I put this in first thing in the morning. left it in all day. curls came out great 10 hrs later. no being uncomfortable sleeping with it in.I don’t know if they are staying in all night because I did put my hair up so it was out of my face. don’t know if it is a mom thing but since I had my child, all I do is keep my hair up and out of my face.anyways, this is great. I would def recommend it. product seems durable and it stayed in place all day (I did clip the 2 ends together behind my head/above the neck so it wasn’t hanging).
Good just a little smaller than I would likeWorks well. Nice quality. Just wish it was wider in diameter because it makes the curls too tight at the bottom. Not a huge issue but annoying to have looser curls at the top of my hair and tighter curls at the bottom. Also it broke (lost the ability to bend) after about 1 month of use while trying to adjust the satin. So I’m buying my second one. It’s one of the better ones on the market. Many are made with cheap materials and don’t bend in the back which I realize is really important for sleeping and wearing around the house.
Quick & easyThe satin heatless curl set is extremely easy to use. Just a simple part in your hair and twirl around the soft curler is all it takes. It is comfortable to sleep in and the results are lovely. You can do tighter twirls if you’re looking for tighter curls or you can twist loose and have a nice beach vibe curl.Putting you hair in takes about 3 minutes. Taking it out takes less than a minute. You get to earn curls while you sleep & wake up looking like you had 40 minutes to curl your hair. It’s the perfect heatless curler for busy humans who want curls, have limited time & want to avoid damaging heat!
Great Heatless ProductI used it after I briefly blow dried my hair, and then slept with it. Sleeping with it came with some troubles because I am a side sleeper but if I molded the “curler” it was easy to sleep. When I woke up I didn’t expect much; but WOW!!!! It was so curly! And I buy a lot of gimmicks on social media; but this one is top notch. I didn’t use heat the next day, and I will say that if I didn’t blow dry it the night before I believe I would have had to straighten the root ends of my scalp for frizz purposes. But this is a great product to grow your hair out, and not use best on. I actually have to loosen my curls out because they were so right. I’m day two in; and the curl is still holding strong. I have medium to long hair with medium fullness.
